Last month, a delegation from a Mexican power equipment manufacturer visited the headquarters and production base of Shandong Gaoji Industrial Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shandong Gaoji”) for an inspection tour, focusing on understanding the technical performance and customized adaptability of CNC busbar processing equipment. General Manager Li of Shandong Gaoji’s Overseas Business Department and the technical team accompanied the delegation throughout the reception. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on equipment needs and cooperation details, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
On-Site Inspection of Production Workshop: Patented Equipment Gains Recognition
In Shandong Gaoji’s digital production workshop, the delegation first visited the intelligent equipment exhibition hall. The Technical Director gave a detailed introduction to the core products — CNC busbar processing machines and multi-functional busbar processing machines. These equipment have obtained national patent certification and can integrally complete processes such as shearing, punching and bending of copper and aluminum busbars. During the on-site demonstration, the BM603-S-3 multi-functional processing machine accurately completed the special-shaped hole punching and vertical bending forming of 16×260mm copper bars, with the processing error controlled within ±0.05mm, winning the attention and recognition of the customer team.
Subsequently, the delegation went deep into the production workshop and focused on inspecting the operation status of the CNC busbar servo bending machine (GJCNC-BB-S). When seeing that the equipment automatically generated programs and completed 90° U-shaped bending after importing 3D drawings through GJ3D software, with the angle accuracy stably maintained within ±0.2°, the Mexican delegation stated: “The intelligent level of the equipment meets our high-precision production needs, especially the networking function with the MES system, which can help us optimize the production process.” The delegation also verified the enterprise’s ISO9001 quality management system certification documents and expressed satisfaction with the full-process quality control standards of the equipment.
Precise Demand Alignment: Customized Solutions Are Favored
During the discussion, General Manager Li introduced the technical advantages and application cases of Shandong Gaoji’s busbar processing equipment. Aiming at the characteristics of the American market, the enterprise has optimized the equipment adaptability and bilingual operation interface. Combined with its own production needs for new energy components, the delegation put forward customized requirements such as copper rod processing adaptation and equipment load upgrade.
The technical team immediately presented the tailor-made solution. Based on the customer’s copper bar processing parameters, the customized equipment can increase punching efficiency by 30% and the bending qualification rate to 99.8%. Meanwhile, the problem of residue in thick copper bar processing is solved by installing an automatic slag cleaning device. After comparing the test data, Enrique said: “This solution fully fits our production rhythm, and the protective design of the equipment table can protect the smoothness of copper bars, which is exactly what we need.” Both parties also reached an agreement on details such as cross-border logistics and spare parts supply. Shandong Gaoji’s service commitment of “48-hour remote response” eliminated the customer’s concerns about overseas operation and maintenance.
Preliminary Intention Reached to Promote Follow-Up Cooperation
At the end of the inspection, both parties signed the “Equipment Purchase Intent Agreement”, initially confirming the purchase of multiple busbar processing equipment with an expected contract value exceeding 800,000 US dollars. The delegation stated: “The precision and intelligence level of Shandong Gaoji’s equipment meet the standards, and the customized services fit our needs, which is the key reason for our intention to cooperate.”
General Manager Li said that Shandong Gaoji attaches great importance to the cooperation opportunity with Mexican customers. This preliminary intention, based on in-depth discussions and multiple cooperations in the early stage, has laid a foundation for the follow-up cooperation between both parties.
