A 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck Wushi County in China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region early yesterday with a depth of 22 kilometers. The epicenter was located at 41.26 degrees north latitude and 78.63 degrees east longitude.
The epicenter was 41 km from Aheqi County, 50 km from Wushi County, 92 km from Keping County, 134 km from Wensu County, 135 km from Aksu City, 137 km from Aksu Prefecture and 790 km from Urumqi City.
